Issue and return a book
- Step 1. Open Campus → Issue / Return.
- Step 2. Choose the pupil and an available book through the issue action.
- Step 3. Enter the due date and any other required loan details.
- Step 4. Save and check the loan in the issues list.
- Step 5. When the book is returned, use that loan’s return action, then verify the updated loan state and available stock.
Follow up overdue loans
Open Overdue Books to review loans past their due dates. Confirm the pupil and title, follow up with the borrower, and record the actual return in the loan workflow. Removing a catalogue title is not a substitute for closing a real loan.
- Check availability before issuing another copy.
- Review the right pupil when two children have similar names.
- Class Books is a separate learning-resource list; it does not create a physical loan.
