Before you begin

  • An offered class subject and the intended open academic term.

Review the term’s assessment columns

Open Teaching → Assessments. The page is labelled Assessments & Reports and links assessment setup, mark sheets and report cards. The Assessment columns and advanced changes section contains the individual columns used by marks and reports.

  1. Step 1. Use Assessment setup for a coordinated arrangement before teachers begin.
  2. Step 2. Open the advanced section to review or manage individual assessments when your school uses that workflow.
  3. Step 3. Check the class subject, term, assessment type, date and maximum marks.
  4. Step 4. Save permitted changes and recheck the mark sheet. Respect any lock when marks or official reports already exist.

Publish learning results to parents

  1. Step 1. Enter and save the intended pupil marks and relevant comments.
  2. Step 2. Review the assessment’s parent-publication status in the assessment list or action menu.
  3. Step 3. Use Publish to parents when the available action says it is ready.
  4. Step 4. After later corrections, review Unpublished changes and use Publish changes to update the published learning copy.
  5. Step 5. Confirm Published · Up to date, then check the intended child’s Learning view in the Parent Portal.

Resolve an unavailable publish action

Enter marks first means the assessment does not yet have publishable results. Publication status unavailable means the state has not been confirmed; refresh before retrying. Teachers can publish only within their permitted class-subject scope. Check guardian links if a published update does not appear for a family.
