Automatic receipt printing

Settings → Receipts includes the option to show the print receipt dialog after a payment. Set a receipt-number prefix or suffix where needed, then check the next document. Reopening an existing receipt should be based on the saved payment rather than entering the payment again.

Send an SMS receipt

When the school supports SMS and a guardian phone is available, the payment form can offer Send SMS receipt to guardian. Check SMS credits or the school’s own Hubtel SMS account, depending on the configured route. The app reports the notification outcome separately.

Message outcomeWhat to do
Payment recorded; SMS not sentKeep the saved payment. Check the guardian phone and SMS balance.
SMS could not be confirmedCheck history. Do not record the payment again.
Payment missing from historyConfirm the pupil, term and connection; investigate before retrying.

Keep an audit trail

Use payment history for the individual collection and Logs for school activity. A receipt is evidence of a saved transaction; a broadcast reminder, bill or checkout-opened screen is not a substitute.
